If you notice that posting is a bit, um...light, that is because a large number of us are in the process of converging on Las Vegas for a vet conference. I heard a rumor that some might even be wearing a VBB t-shirt. Yes, we have t-shirts.
Those of us that were not able to ̶g̶o̶ ̶b̶l̶o̶w̶ ̶a̶ ̶w̶a̶d̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶c̶a̶s̶h̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶a̶ ̶c̶a̶s̶i̶n̶o̶ attend a really huge continuing education conference will try to make up for this.
y'all have fun, you hear?
ReplyDeleteAnd to think, I chose to go to North American instead! That's it, Vegas next year!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun; do you have lectures and chances for hands-on practice? Do you have to go to one every year?
ReplyDeleteThere are lectures as well as "labs" at most CE events. While I love CE lectures, those hands on labs are really fun. The labs are more expensive, but a ton of fun.
DeleteDitto to SMHDVM. To answer your other question, every vet has to get a certain number of CE hours each year (how many depends on the state). These are usually from lectures, which may be at a conference, at dinner meetings, or sometimes even online.
DeleteI spent all my CE money on the emergency & critical care meeting in Nashville last September.
ReplyDeleteYou guys all raise a glass there for those of us who couldn't afford to go. :)
I hope you all behave badly in Vegas! You deserve it, though you all seem a bit too responsible. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteIf you have an extra while, I highly recommend http://www.mysteryadventureslasvegas.com/
We'll hold down the fort.
ReplyDeleteI WANT A T-SHIRT!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSoon, my pretty, soon.
DeleteYAY! I have some fellow peeps out there. They have confirmed "spotting" the famous VBB shirts you speak of..;-)
