Don't care which damn percentage I am in.

I am a Veterinarian Behaving Badly-
I am passionate about my career.
-
My patients are all species except humans and
horses. Actually sometimes humans also, but not horses.
-
I will be paying for my education for about 30
years.
-
When I hear people whine how expensive veterinary
medicine is, I listen even though I really want to scream and bang my head on
the wall.
-
If my sarcastic venting teaches just one person, that
is awesome. It keeps me sane. That is
awesome also.
-
Sane is generally better for my patients.
-
My camera is currently not working, so I can’t
make a cool picture to post.
-
I am a doctor, wife, daughter, sister, friend,
and I AM HUMAN.
-
Percentages are a bunch of crap. Therefore, I
don’t care which percentage I am placed in.

  1. I think the blog is hilarious and sometimes post similar stories when I have them. I don't think it degrades our profession. People love my funny and stupid client stories and it makes me feel better to have vented about it. It doesn't make me a less caring or professional vet in the exam room. I still treat every patient the best I can with what limited means the clients allow. Why should we hold back and protect the idiots who own pets? They don't protect us with their unfounded accusations and internet reviews.

  2. Oh God, please stop feeding the trolls...

I used to love your blog before you started just posting stuff in answers to those who don't like you.

Go back to the funny stories and idiot clients please. It's a good break between two study sessions :)

  3. Sliding on ice, you are so right. Haters are gonna hate no matter what. We are having too much fun! We don't want to let our readers down. Time to move on from these lame people who just want to make everybody else feel bad for things. Thank you! :)

  4. I am in the 69% of people who don't care which percent group they fall into. I think. I'm about 90% sure.

  6. And if you couldn't tell...I love your blog. Everyone needs a little comic relief, and as long as you aren't naming names and bashing particular people I don't think there's anything wrong with it!
